    I’m riddled with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I have a weekly injection for the pain, 6 pills per day, plus an Underactive Thyroid. I cannot explain at times my general thought patterns have been draining. I do think I suffered from this before due to health issues, however, it has been made worse not being able to get out and about during Covid.

    I didn’t know what Liz could do, but clearly I was in good hands. It was a sunny day so we went outside in the garden. She taught me how to breath correctly with some gentle yoga moves and opening the body.

    The birds were tweeting, the sky was blue, and there was a gentle breeze. Instantly I felt very relaxed.

    Guided all the way I learnt an easy sequence to open up my lungs, breathe gently, stimulate the brain and calm my nerves. We also did a posture check both standing and sitting as I’d had some balance issues. It certainly highlighted a fe bad habits that have crept in over the years.

    Then we lay on the grass with legs over a chair. It was so calming. A simple manoeuvre for my spine, releasing pressure on my legs and feet; then some more simple breathing exercises. I didn’t want to move!

    In my 70’s I never thought I could do yoga, but now I’m keen to start one of Liz’s mature sessions.
